Your first visit to Granbury Oral and Facial Surgery includes a comprehensive consultation where Dr. Humes will evaluate your condition, discuss your diagnosis, and explain your treatment options. In some cases, treatment may be completed on the same day as your consultation. However, complex cases or medical considerations may require a separate appointment for your procedure.
To help us prepare for your consultation, please bring the following:
- Your referral slip and any relevant X-rays, if available.
- A current list of medications you are taking.
- Completed insurance forms and necessary information, if applicable, to help us process your benefits efficiently.
Important: Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during their consultation visit.
For patients receiving IV anesthesia, a preoperative consultation and physical examination are required before surgery. Please follow all pre-surgical instructions provided by our team, including fasting requirements before your procedure, and arrange for an adult to drive you home afterward.
Please notify our office of any medical conditions or medications that may affect your care, including diabetes, high blood pressure, heart conditions, artificial joints or heart valves, blood thinners, aspirin, or other medications.
